This 28' Chris Craft was given to us by Anchors Way Marine down in Oxnard. She had a nice fiberglass hull with fresh bottom paint. She had a pair of small block Chevy V8's. It took some work, but I was able to get both of them running good. For some reason she was stripped down pretty badly. I had to put rudders in and repack the stuffing boxes. I put in a teleflex steering system, Morse controls and keys. I put in new sea-cocks on the engine through-hulls and put on some new hoses. I capped all the unnecessary through hulls. I put her in the water and brought her to Santa Barbara. She was an impressively fast boat and I kind of miss her a bit. I sold her to Jaymes down in Redondo to use as a fishing boat and he is totally stoked.
